LIVE more in the PRESENT of what I dream the FUTURE to be…..
It doesn’t matter what happens, it matters what I do with what happens. That’s what makes the difference in my reality.
I went out and about yesterday (12/7/22) with a couple of people that are working on the work away program with Roci. It was lovely to get out and share the experience with others. Wandering the streets with there vibrancy, colour and music, walking through markets and stopping to enjoy some fresh Oaxacan food. Oaxaca excels in all the classics: mole, tlayduas, enfrijoladas, nieve, bread and chocolate. It is a city that is particularly popular for its diverse traditions and cultures as well as its historical past. Oaxaca has been hailed as “Mexico’s culinary capital”.
On the downside for me (not everyone, I know) and not for my fellow explorers, it was a requirement to put a mask on and have your temperature checked in most of the places. We are in July 2022! I didn’t partake in this, which my fellow explorers couldn’t understand as they like so many, just followed the crowd. This continues to get me down and I find it very difficulty to watch the narrative continuing to be played out.
“TO BE OF THIS WORLD, BUT NOT OF THIS WORLD” is not easy. Watching people adjust so easily to covering their faces and turning into robots without thought or question, continues to affect me deeply. How can this not affect me when I’m centre stage!!!
Everything I tap into makes so much sense and sounds so easy at the time. In reality though, for me in this moment, that is far from the truth, especially when I am out and about and affected by such a sensory overload.
I do realise though, that much of this that is affecting me is coming from a place of judgement which I am still yet to fully realise and surrender, as my emotions are very much getting in the way. However I am working on it. Oh the joys of being an empath.
God, please give me the strength and the ability to find the answers within.
